Benedict Cumberbatch

I've neglected to do any kind of realism study for quite some time, it's been about a year since i did any life drawing so I felt I should probably catch up with that XD;. I also felt like trying out doing a digital portrait, which is something I've never really done before so this has been quite the learning experience for me. Decided to use Sherlock, aka, Benedict Cumberbatch as my guinea pig, cuz, well, why not XD? It's not a perfect likeness of him, but it's only a first attempt, ahah. Used the dropper a lot to pick out colours from the reference pic I used, was really interesting seeing the amount of colours and shades that were in the skin, and actually using all those different shades was a really fun learning experience for me. I definitely intend on doing more of these .
